DR. PAULA BRUCE

Dr. Paula Bruce is the Founder, CEO and Executive Clinical Director of this growing practice which includes excellent multilingual, multiethnic clinicians who work with a diverse group of clients. She is an experienced and well-respected clinical, forensic and media psychologist who has been licensed in California (PSY 16248) since 1999. Dr. Bruce is additionally licensed in New York (026403) and Virginia (081008411).

DR. JANICE NISHIYAMA

Dr. Janice Nishiyama is the Clinical Director and a Senior Clinical Supervisor in the practice. She earned her Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) and Master of Arts (M.A.) degrees from the well-respected California School of Professional Psychology, Los Angeles. She has been a licensed psychologist in California since 1999 (PSY 16545).

ASHLEY WENDT

Ashley Wendt, M.A., LMFT is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT 128374) and Clinical Supervisor in the practice. Ashley received her Master of Arts (M.A.) in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, Los Angeles, with a specialization in trauma. She has a wide range of clinical experience, working with adults, adolescents and couples of all backgrounds, to address trauma, personality issues, relational concerns, grief and mood regulation.

KELVIN MARTINEZ

Kelvin Martinez, M.A., AMFT is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT 124195) working under the supervision of Dr. Janice Nishiyama (PSY 16545). He received a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles and comprehensive clinical training at AIDS Project Los Angeles where he worked in depth with adults, couples, and groups from a diverse range of life experiences.

DR. JENNIFER ARIAS

Dr. Jennifer Arias is a Licensed Psychologist (PSY 35097) who specializes in helping individuals understand and work through difficult recurrent behaviors, to create thriving relationships and lives they actually enjoy living.  

 She obtained her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology with a Minor in Education from University of California, Los Angeles, her Master of Arts (M.A.) in Clinical Psychology from Azusa Pacific University and her Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) from Azusa Pacific University.

NEVE JOHNSON

Neve Johnson, M.S., AMFT is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT 140119) practicing under the supervision of Dr. Janice Nishiyama (PSY 16545). She completed her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology at Arizona State University and received her Master of Science (M.S.) in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Southern California. Neve received comprehensive clinical training at Beit T’Shuvah working with a variety of clients ranging from adults, groups, families, and couples. She has a wide breadth of clinical experience including addiction, mood dysregulation, anxiety, trauma, personality disorders, and interpersonal concerns. Neve works with children, adolescents and adults from varying backgrounds including the BIPOC and LGBTQ2IA+ communities.

JOLIE RITTENBERRY-KRAEMER

Jolie Rittenberry-Kraemer, M.A., AMFT is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT 144210) practicing under the supervision of Ashley Wendt, M.A., LMFT (LMFT 128374). She completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Fashion Design at Parsons The New School for Design and received her Master of Arts (M.A.) in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, Los Angeles, with a specialization in LGBTQ2IA+ Affirmative Psychology. She has a wide breadth of clinical experience including addiction, anxiety, trauma, grief, phase of life transitions, and relational concerns and works with children, adolescents, and adult clients. Prior to joining PBA, Jolie received comprehensive clinical training at Beit T’Shuvah working with a variety of clients including families and couples, and facilitated groups for those in recovery from substance use disorder.

ERIC WINDELL

Eric Windell, M.S., AMFT, is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT 142025) under the supervision of Dr. Janice Nishiyama (PSY 16545). He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and later obtained his Master of Science in Clinical Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy from Mount Saint Mary’s University. Eric is passionate about providing individuals with a safe and supportive space to explore their inner selves, free from judgment and external pressures. He recognizes that the journey of human existence is multifaceted and often laden with an array of emotions and challenges, shaping our relationships, careers, and self-perceptions.

Office Manager

CRYSTAL LEE

Crystal Lee, B.S. is the Office Manager for Paula E. Bruce, Ph.D. & Associates. She graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Psychobiology. Crystal is indispensable to both the Beverly Hills and the DTLA office and is responsible for all of the office management and administrative needs of the practice, including managing all insurance and billing issues, managing the practice’s social media accounts, and taking care of all of the general office needs.
