Ashley pursued further psychodynamic training and received a certificate in psychoanalytic psychotherapy from The Psychoanalytic Center of California. Ashley also trained in childhood development at Early Childhood Development Associates, and worked in a dual diagnosis treatment center, providing treatment to adults with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
Ashley works from an analytically informed psychodynamic perspective, exploring how our pasts have shaped our present relationships with ourselves and others. She believes that the relationship between therapist and client is paramount, and has healing potential as a microcosm for the client’s broader experience. Ashley is committed to creating an inclusive and safe space for each client’s unique emotional exploration.
