Neve Johnson, M.S., AMFT, is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT 140119) practicing under the supervision of Dr. Janice Nishiyama (PSY 16545). She completed her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology at Arizona State University and received her Master of Science (M.S.) in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Southern California. Neve received comprehensive clinical training at Beit T’Shuvah working with a variety of clients ranging from adults, groups, families, and couples. She has a wide breadth of clinical experience including addiction, mood dysregulation, anxiety, trauma, personality disorders, and interpersonal concerns. Neve works with children, adolescents and adults from varying backgrounds including the BIPOC and LGBTQ2IA+ communities.
Neve utilizes an integrative psychodynamic perspective to help clients gain insight into how their past experiences have shaped their present lives. She helps clients feel empowered to explore their inner worlds, make connections between past experiences and present behaviors, and develop new ways of thinking and relating. Neve tailors her therapeutic approach to each client's unique goals and needs. She believes that by fostering a supportive and nurturing therapeutic relationship, clients can feel empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives and achieve their desired outcomes.
